Following the third meeting of the Working Group on Environmental Rights in Manila, a draft declaration on environmental rights was released for stakeholder consultation. The revised draft is available for download here: Draft ASEAN declaration on environmental rights.

Translations of the draft declaration are now available. ELAW has provided translations in the following languages:

ICEL has provided a translation in Indonesian.

Submissions and comments are being invited from stakeholders until Tuesday 30 April. The Asian Research Institute for Environmental Law and other partners are conducting a series of webinars to provide background to environmental rights in ASEAN. However, due to time and resource limitations, we can only accept submissions in English.
